OKLAHOMA CITY – Texas Wesleyan's Bailey Foy topped the all-Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball team by taking both the SAC most valuable player and co-attacker of the year.
Texas Wesleyan also snared conference coach of the year (Jessica Ransom), while John Brown reeled in both defensive player of the year (Jillian Blackman) and freshman of the year (Taylor Golmen). Foy shared the attacker of the year honor with Hanna Foecker of Mid-America Christian, and setter of the year went to Lucie Mahelova from Wayland Baptist.
Foy became league attacker of the year for the second year in a row. Foy, a senior middle blocker from Paris, Texas, has posted a .449 hitting percentage to rank second in the NAIA this year. Foy has accumulated 3.56 kills and 1.00 blocks per set. The SAC bestowed three attacker of the week awards and a defender of the week nod upon Foy on the season. Foy owns eight career weekly honors from the conference.

Golmen, a freshman from Nixa, Mo., has turned in 2.22 kills and 0.72 blocks a set over the season. She reached double digits in kills 11 times in 2021.
Ransom coached the Lady Rams to their first SAC regular-season championship this year and first league title since 2005 as a part of the Red River Athletic Conference. Texas Wesleyan (24-5, 18-2 SAC) extended its winning string to 15 matches with a tournament quarterfinal victory Tuesday.
