OKLAHOMA CITY – The Sooner Athletic Conference handed out scholar-athlete honors to 34 baseball student-athletes around the league.

Ten Oklahoma City University and Southwestern Christian earned SAC scholar-athlete to rank No. 1 in the conference. Five Eagles own 4.0 cumulative grade-point averages to be among 10 to hold a perfect GPA.

Those student-athletes who are juniors or above in academic standing with at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average, appear on the eligibility certificate for an NAIA-recognized sport and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer shall be eligible for the SAC scholar-athlete award presented by Barnes & Noble College.
