Bardell, Dickerson, and Hilborn Garner Oklahoma Ford Dealers SAC Football Player of the Week Honors

Oklahoma City – Torrance Bardell of Langston, Kameron Dickerson of Panhandle State, and Levi Hilborn of Louisiana Christian have earned this week’s Oklahoma Ford Dealers Sooner Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week honors for the week ending Oct. 1, 2023, announced by the conference office Monday Morning.
 
Bardell garnered the league’s Offensive Player of the Week award while Dickerson grabbed the Defensive honor for the second consecutive week. Hilborn earned the Special Teams Award of the season for his efforts this past weekend.
 
Palermo III used both his arm and legs in a 45-21 victory over Southwestern Assemblies of God on Saturday. He was 13-of 25 for 231 yards with three touchdowns through the air and he added 125 yards on the ground in 10 attempts with two more scores. He finished the day with a 169.2 passing efficiency.

Dickerson led the defensive efforts for the Aggies in a 29-17 loss to Louisiana Christian Saturday as he finished with 27 total tackles with 16 of those being solo stops. Dickerson also added a sack and a pair of tackles for a loss in the defeat.

Hilborn put together a perfect day kicking in a Wildcat 29-17 win over Panhandle State. He was a perfect 2-for-2 in extra points while kicking a career-best 3-for-3 in field goals. Hilborn hit field goals from 30, 25, and 20 yards in the first half to give the Wildcats a 9-7 halftime lead.
