Oklahoma City- Jaylen Magee and Eric Cline of OUAZ and Isaiah Brooks of Wayland Baptist are this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
Magee earned the league’s Offensive Player of the Week honor, while Brooks was named Defensive Player of the Week, with Cline garnering the league’s Special Teams Player of the Week honor.
 
Magee was a key to the Spirit defeating in-state rival Arizona Christian 38-14 last week as he ran for 200 yards on 34 carries in the win with a pair of touchdowns. Magee averaged 5.9 yards per carry in the contest as his performance was the sixth best in OUAZ program history for rushing yards by a player.
 
Other Nominees - Datlan Cunningham, Louisiana Christian, Cole Francis, Texas Wesleyan, Keamodre Horace, Wayland Baptist, Rylan Johnson, Oklahoma Panhandle State, and Sedrick Hill Jr., Arkansas Baptist.
 
Brooks paced the Pioneers defense in a 42-28 victory over Langston as he had 12 total tackles with seven of those being solo stops. Brooks also had 1.5 tackles for loss for 3 yards and added an interception in the conference win.

Cline was a contributor in the Spirit win over Arizona Christian as he scored eight points in the contest. Cline was a perfect 5-for-5 in extra point attempts while adding a 30-yard field goal in the win.
