Madrigal and Raime Claim SAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week Honors

Oklahoma City – Kendal Madrigal of John Brown and Amir Raime of Nelson have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
Madrigal helped the Golden Eagles to a 1-0-1 record last week by scoring a pair of goals in the two matches while adding an assist. Madrigal had three shots with all of them being on frame during the week while adding the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Mid-America Christian, which snapped a nine-match losing streak to the Evangels.
 
Other Nominees - Ayoup Bader, Oklahoma Panhandle State, Maximiliano Campos, Wayland Baptist, Thiago Fasano, Science and Arts, and Omolemo Matla, Nelson. 
 
Raime paced the Lions to a pair of conference victories last week as he had a pair of clean sheets. Raime finished with five saves on the week, including four saves in a 1-0 win over Texas Wesleyan. The two clean sheets were his third and fourth of the season.
