Oklahoma City – The chase for the 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference football championship heads to Fort Worth, Texas, and Crowley ISD Stadium, as two top 25 teams will battle for the top of the conference standings in one of the NAIA Feature Games of the Week.
No. 12 OUAZ will head over to Texas to take on No. 24 Texas Wesleyan in a 2 p.m. kick as both teams are undefeated in conference play with two games left in league play. The winner of this matchup will be in the driver’s seat for the SAC championship with one week to play next week.
Both teams bring top 20 scoring offenses into the game, as the Spirit average 45 points per game to the Rams’ 38. Both teams spread the ball, as neither has a 100-yard rushing average, while OUAZ’s Luke Giron averages 224.4 passing yards. Texas Wesleyan’s Cole Francis is 10 yards better, averaging 234.9.
This game will be one of the NAIA Feature Games of the Week that will be showcased on the Urban Edge Network this weekend.
