John Brown Garners Top Spot in the 2025 SAC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll

Oklahoma City – After claiming the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament championship for a fifth consecutive year, John Brown will begin the 2025 fall season as the top squad in the SAC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll as voted on by the league's head coaches.
 
The Golden Eagles garnered the top spot on the list with 81 points and nine first-place votes by the coaches after finishing the 2024 season with an overall record of 16-6-1 and a league mark of 8-1 as they finished in a three-way tie for the regular season. John Brown advanced to the NAIA Postseason Tournament and made it to the national quarterfinals before their season ended.
 
Science & Arts earned the second position on the poll with 73 points, as they earned the only other first-place vote with an overall record of 18-3-1 and a league mark of 8-1, as they earned a part of the regular season title before falling to John Brown in the tournament title game.
 
Mid-America Christian claimed the third spot on the list with 64 points after wrapping up the regular season with an overall record of 14-3-2 and a conference mark of 8-1 to earn the third part of the regular season crown.
 
Oklahoma City grabbed the fourth spot on the list with 55 points, with Nelson rounding out the top five on the list with 52 points.
