Stark, Bowden, and Adams Collect SAC Volleyball Player of the Week Awards

Oklahoma City – Skyla Stark of Panhandle State, Ryley Bowden of Mid-America Christian, and Natalie Adams of Oklahoma City have earned Sooner Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week honors as released by the conference office Monday morning.
 
Stark was named the league’s Attacker of the Week, with Bowden earning Defender of the Week honors while Adams garnered the Setter of the Week Award.
 
Stark led the Aggies to a pair of conference victories last week with 24 kills on 44 total attacks for a hitting percentage of .523 with only one attack error. Stark had a career-high 17 kills in the Panhandle State’s 3-1 win over Oklahoma City. Stark also added five total blocks for the week.

Bowden was a key player for the Evangels’ back line as she finished with 37 digs for an average of 6.17 digs per set over the two matches. Bowden also collected her 1,000th career dig in the match against Nelson and was credited with 32 receptions for a percentage of .906.
