Oklahoma City – After winning the individual championship at the Northwest Iowa National Invitational, Kolbe Fielder of Texas Wesleyan has been named the week’s NAIA National Men’s Golfer of the Week as voted on by a panel of institutional and conference sports information directors.
Fielder took part in a loaded Northwest Iowa National Invitational at Willow Creek Golf Course in Le Mars, Iowa, and won the individual title with rounds of 68-65-64 for a new school record score of 16-under-par 197. His final round of 64 was the second-best round in school history. Fielder finished the event with a pair of eagles, 17 birdies, and five bogies over the 54-hole tournament.
Fielder’s honor is the first for the conference since Brady Meek of Texas Wesleyan win the award on April 23, 2025
