Oklahoma City – Trevor Youngblood of Panhandle State and Juliana Molina of Texas Wesleyan are this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Runners of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
Youngblood took part in the New Mexico Highlands XC Jam and broke the Panhandle State school record for the second consecutive time this fall as he finished the 7K course in a time of 23:56.0. His mark on the event was good for eighth overall in the event that was contested on a course that was roughly at 6,000 feet in New Mexico.
Other Nominees - Hendrick Ramirez, Oklahoma City, Korey Allen, Texas Wesleyan, Andries Meyer, Science & Arts, and Ryder Robison, Wayland Baptist.
Molina took part in The Hill Cross Country Classic and placed third in the event with a time of 19:23.8 out of 91 runners in the event. Her time was good enough to defeat many NCAA Division II competitors that participated in the event.
