Sooner Athletic Conference Celebrates CSC Appreciation Week

Oklahoma City - The 11th annual College Sports Communicators Appreciation Week is being celebrated during the week of Nov. 2-8. The Sooner Athletic Conference joins the CSC in honoring our outstanding Sports Information Directors.

CSC Membership Appreciation Week is an opportunity for those who interact with college sports communications and creative professionals to observe and celebrate the impact that athletics communicators have on intercollegiate athletics. The week was created to show appreciation for athletic communicators and creatives within the CSC membership and to showcase their efforts and accomplishments. The celebration recognizes CSC members and their work promoting student-athletes and their institutions/conferences across all levels of intercollegiate athletics.

“Every year, I am so impressed with the work that the Sooner Athletic Conference Sports Information Directors perform daily,” stated SAC Assistant Commissioner Jim Powers. “This group strives to promote the outstanding things that are happening at the schools, whether it is on the field of play, in the classroom, or in the community. I firmly believe that we have the best group of College Sports Communicators in the NAIA.”
