Oklahoma City - The Sooner Athletic Conference announces that 696 student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 SAC Scholar-Athlete list for their work in the classroom over the past school year.
 
The SAC Scholar-Athlete list includes student-athletes who participate in any NAIA-recognized sport and must be juniors or above in academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5. The student-athletes also must have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer at a member school. The student-athlete’s grade point average should only include the current school’s grade point average and should not consider previous schools.
 
Texas Wesleyan leads all conference schools with 107 student-athletes earning the award, while Oklahoma City added 105 student-athletes to the yearly list. Nelson rounded out the top three schools with 87 student-athletes earning honors.
