OKLAHOMA CITY – The Sooner Athletic Conference women’s soccer players of the week included offensive player of the week Danielle Trought of Texas Wesleyan and defensive player of the week Keane Harrison from Science & Arts of Oklahoma.
Trought gave Texas Wesleyan its first SAC offensive player of the week since Oct. 21-27, 2019, while Harrison snared USAO’s fourth weekly defensive honor of the season.
Offensive player of the week: Danielle Trought | D | Sr. | Aledo, Texas
Danielle Trought fueled Texas Wesleyan’s 5-2 victory over Wayland Baptist by accumulating four goals Tuesday in Lubbock, Texas. Trought tallied the Lady Rams’ first four-goal outing since Tameir Grosvenor’s five-goal performance at Panhandle State on Oct. 4, 2019. Trought scored her first goal of the season against Wayland Baptist in the 11th minute when she broke away for a one-on-one situation against the goalkeeper.

Defensive player of the week: Keane Harrison | GK | So. | Chester, United Kingdom
Keane Harrison contributed to USAO’s 2-0 week. Harrison collected three saves in her second shutout of the season in a 1-0 win at Southwestern Christian on Tuesday. She notched two saves in a 3-2 overtime win over Central Christian on Friday in Chickasha, Okla. Harrison owns a 1.14 goals-against average and 18 saves in 2020-21.
