OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Sooner Athletic Conference and TicketSmarter have announced a new partnership to name TicketSmarter as the official ticket resale marketplace partner of SAC.

The SAC joins an increasing list of athletic conferences in the United States partnering with TicketSmarter, including the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, Mid-South Conference and Red River Athletic Conference. 

“We are thrilled to become a partner of Sooner Athletic Conference to provide fans with an additional ticket distribution channel,” said TicketSmarter CEO Jeff Goodman. “The partnership with SAC is an extension of our strategy to create strong, mutually beneficial relationships, and we look forward to working together over the next several years.”

As the official ticket resale marketplace, TicketSmarter will acquire exclusive marketing and sponsorship rights for SAC, and give fans a seamless, secure platform to buy and sell tickets.

The Sooner Athletic Conference, founded in 1978 as a five-member conference of Oklahoma-based schools, currently has a 12-member league competing in 18 sports with six members in Oklahoma, four in Texas and one each in Arkansas and Kansas.
