Oklahoma City – Jordan Wilmore and Landon Reeves of OUAZ, and Zeno Marcheselli of Texas Wesleyan have earned this week’s Oklahoma Ford Dealers Sooner Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week honors for the week ending Oct. 15, 2023, announced by the conference office Monday Morning.
 
Wilmore garnered the league’s Offensive Player of the Week award while Marcheselli grabbed the Defensive honor. Reeves earned the Special Teams Award of the season for his efforts this past weekend.
 
Wilmore had a career night rushing going for 210 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries in only three quarters of action on Saturday. His touchdowns were from 1, 13, 14 and 37 yards. On the night, he had four carries of more than 15 yards in an 83-0 win over Arkansas Baptist. Wilmore also caught a pair of passes for 25 yards in the win. For the season, Jordan has now carried the ball for 79 trips for 616 yards and seven touchdowns.

Marcheselli paced the Ram’s defense in a 51-0 win over SAGU as he finished the night with six total tackles which included three sacks for 16 yards. He also had four tackles for loss for 23 yards and had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the win for Texas Wesleyan.

Reeves had quite a day in the victory over Arkansas Baptist. He went 11-for-11 on extra points, was 2-for-2 on field goals from 22 and 30 yards out, and averaged 59.6 yards and six touchbacks on 14 kickoffs against Arkansas Baptist.
