OKLAHOMA CITY – Langston's Ahmia Dorsey and Southwestern Assemblies of God's Daisy Otwell snared their second Oklahoma Ford Dealers Sooner Athletic Conference women's indoor track & field athlete of the week awards.
The conference's weekly men's honors went to Tajean Houston from Texas Wesleyan (runner) and Montrell Blacknall of Southwestern Assemblies of God (field) for Feb. 6-12.
Men's runner of the week: Tajean Houston | Jr. | Kingston, Jamaica
Tajean Houston set the Texas Wesleyan record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time that ranked on the A standard list for the NAIA indoor track & field championships in the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic over the weekend in Pittsburg, Kan. Houston ran the seventh best time of the day, 8.14 seconds, which ranks 13th in the NAIA on the season.

Men's field athlete of the week: Montrell Blacknall | So. | Ennis, Texas
Montrell Blacknall became the individual champion in the heptathlon Friday in the National Christian College Athletic Association Championships in Cedarville, Ohio. Blacknall scored 4,701 points, which ranks eighth among the NAIA in 2022-23 and stands among the A standard list for the NAIA indoor meet March 2-4 in Brookings, S.D. Blacknall took fifth in the pole vault Saturday with a mark of 13 feet, 11¼ inches.

Women's runner of the week: Daisy Otwell | Fr. | DeLeon, Texas
Daisy Otwell took sixth in the NCCAA Championships after finishing the mile in 5 minutes, 23.88 seconds. She finished ninth in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:56.99. Otwell collected the first SAC women's indoor runner of the week for 2022-23.
Women's field athlete of the week: Ahmia Dorsey | Sr. | East St. Louis, Ill.
Ahmia Dorsey recorded her season-high mark in the triple jump with 38 feet, 1½ inches in the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic. Dorsey's leap rates 12th in the NAIA this season and puts her among the A standard qualifiers for the national indoor meet. Dorsey previously was SAC field athlete of the week for Jan. 17-23, 2022.
