OKLAHOMA CITY – Langston's Chasity Veals hauled in Oklahoma Ford Dealers Sooner Athletic Conference women's track & field athlete of the week for the second week in a row.
Oklahoma City University's Jordan Iwuchukwu snagged his second career SAC men's track & field athlete of the week, while Panhandle State's Justin Duran reeled in conference men's runner of the week. Ashlei McDonald of Texas Wesleyan became women's runner of the week.
Men's runner of the week: Justin Duran | So. | Stratford, Texas
Justin Duran completed the 10,000 meters in 34 minutes, 13.54 seconds, good for second place in the Friends Spring Invitational on Friday in Wichita, Kan.

Men's field athlete of the week: Jordan Iwuchukwu | Jr. | Edmond, Okla.
Jordan Iwuchukwu finished 10th in the Friends Spring Invitational on Saturday in the shot put with a throw of 43 feet, 2½ inches. His toss of 108 feet in the discus placed him 28th in the meet.

Women's runner of the week: Ashlei McDonald | Fr. | Tecumseh, Neb.
Ashlei McDonald posted a Texas Wesleyan record in the steeplechase in the Texas State Bobcat Invitational, finishing 13th in 12:04.94 over the weekend in San Marcos, Texas. Her time ranks No. 1 in the SAC.

Women's field athlete of the week: Chasity Veals | So.
Chasity Veals topped her previous season best in the triple jump with a mark of 38 feet, 6¼ inches in the Friends Spring Invitational on Saturday. Her jump stands sixth in the NAIA in the event this season.
