Oklahoma City – CJ Hall of Southwestern Assemblies of God and Natalie Smith of John Brown University were named this week’s Oklahoma Ford Dealers Sooner Athletic Conference Basketball Players of the Week for their efforts during the week that ended Feb. 25, 2024.
Hall paced the Lions in a pair of wins this week as he averaged 29.5 points per game, 2.5 rebounds, and three assists per contest last week. Hall Scored 35 points and had three steals in a 99-92 victory over Wayland Baptist to secure the No. 3 seed in the upcoming SAC Basketball Tournament.

Smith led No. 13 John Brown to a pair of wins in the closing week of the regular season, culminating in JBU's first-ever Sooner Athletic regular season title in undefeated fashion with a record of 22-0. Smith finished the week over 50 percent (11-of-20) from behind the arc and 64 percent overall from the field (21-of-33), and with her eight triples in the Golden Eagles' come-from-behind win over MACU, Smith became the program's career triples leader with 281, breaking a previous career high that stood for 16 seasons. Also finished 13-of-18 in win over Evangels, posting a career-high 35 points.
