Oklahoma City – After earning Most Outstanding Athlete at the 2024 Sooner Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship, Montrell Blacknall of Southwestern Assemblies of God leads the list of this year’s SAC Men’s Track and Field All-Conference award winners as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.
 
Blacknall earned the men’s highest honor for the second consecutive season in helping the Lions to a third-place finish in the team race with 35 points. Blacknall opened his day by earning fifth place in the 110-meter-high hurdles in an “A” Standard time of 15.14 while aiding the SAGU 4x100 meter relay team to a fifth-place finish with a time of 43.59. Blacknall then turned his attention to the field events as he won the pole vault with an “A” Standard mark of 4.00 meters while getting another “A” Standard in placing fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.58 meters. Blacknall continued his dominance in the field events with a second-place finish in the high jump with a jump of 1.95 meters and then added a fourth-place finish in the shot put and a fifth-place mark in the Javelin.
