Coleman and Lee Garner SAC Oklahoma Ford Dealers Men's Basketball Player of the Week Awards

Oklahoma City – Quenton Coleman and James Lee of Wayland Baptist have earned this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Oklahoma Ford Dealers Men’s Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards for their efforts over the past week as announced by the conference office Monday morning.
 
Coleman paced the Pioneers to a pair of victories last week by averaging 32.5 points per game in wins over the College of the Ozarks and John Brown while shooting 65.6 percent from the field. Coleman had 12 three-pointers in the victories with seven of those coming on an 86-69 win over the Bobcats. Coleman also handed out five assists while collecting 10 rebounds last week.

Lee was a key part of the Pioneers’ defense in the two wins last week, as he had six steals and a block and grabbed four defensive boards in the pair of wins. In the Wayland 86-69 win over the College of the Ozarks, Lee had five steals and a block.
