Oklahoma City – The tenth annual College Sports Communicators Appreciation Week is being celebrated during the week of Nov. 4-9. The Sooner Athletic Conference joins the CSC in honoring and celebrating our outstanding group of Sports Information Directors.
CSC Membership Appreciation Week is an opportunity for those who interact with college sports communications and creative professionals to observe and celebrate the impact that athletics communicators have on intercollegiate athletics. The week was created to show appreciation for athletic communicators and creatives within the CSC membership and to showcase their efforts and accomplishments. The celebration brings positive recognition to CSC members and their work promoting student-athletes and their institutions/conferences throughout all levels of intercollegiate athletics.
“Being in the industry for many years, I firmly believe that we have the best group of College Sports Communicators in the NAIA,” stated SAC Assistant Commissioner Jim Powers. “The work that our group puts in daily to promote the teams and the student-athletes on their campus is truly remarkable.”
