Oklahoma City Leads the 2025-26 SAC Commissioner's Cup

Oklahoma City – After claiming three championships this fall, Oklahoma City sits in the top spot of the 2025-26 Sooner Athletic Conference Commissioner’s Cup standings after the completion of the fall sports season.

The standings for the year-long competition are determined by assigning a point value to each school’s performance in the regular season of each SAC-sponsored sport. Then, an average is computed from the points earned and the possible points to determine the winning school.

The Stars scored 44 out of 51 possible points for a score of 0.8627 after winning the men’s and women’s cross country championships and the men’s soccer regular season title. Oklahoma City also added points by placing in a tie for third in women’s soccer and a tie for fifth in volleyball.

John Brown is in the second position after securing 39 out of 51 possible points for a score of 0.7647 after winning the women’s soccer regular season title and garnering second-place finishes in men’s cross country and men’s soccer.

Two-time defending champion Mid-America Christian is in the third spot after claiming 36 out of 51 possible points for a score of 0.7059 after earning a third-place finish in men’s soccer and men’s cross country, while tying for third in women’s soccer and volleyball.

The standings will be updated after the completion of the winter sports in early March.
