Oklahoma City – Tanner Bailey of College of the Ozarks and Latrel Davis of Nelson have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards Men’s Outdoor Track Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
 
Bailey opened the 2026 outdoor season at the Missouri S&T Invitational and earned a first-place finish in the 5000-meter run. Bailey finished with a time of 14:56.41 in the event that featured many NCAA Division II runners, as he out-distanced the field by nearly two minutes.

Davis took part in the first-ever home meet at Nelson and delivered a record-breaking performance. Davis set a new school mark in winning the Long Jump with a leap of 7.05m and then claimed the top spot in the High Jump with yet another program record jump of 1.92m.
