Oklahoma City – Oklahoma City Head Men’s Golf Coach Blake Trimble has been named the 2026 Dave Williams National NAIA Coach of the Year Award presented by Golf Pride Grips, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Trimble led the Stars to their NAIA-best 12^th Men’s Golf National Championship this past spring after guiding Oklahoma City to the Sooner Athletic Conference title and earning conference Coach of the Year honors. The Stars won seven tournaments this past season and garnered 11 top- five finishes during the year. Trimble also led five PING All-West Region golfers, including Christian Yanovitch, who claimed medalist honors at the NAIA Championships.
 
Trimble is the second Oklahoma City head coach to receive the honor, joining GCAA Hall of Famer Kyle Blaser.
