Oklahoma City – Championship season continues to roll on as the 2024 Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championship Meet will take place on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at Eldon Park in Oklahoma City.
 
The women will run a 6k course starting at 10 a.m. while the men will compete in an 8k race starting at 10:45 a.m. The awards ceremony will take place following the conclusion of the men's race.
 
The Oklahoma City men’s team is looking to earn their eighth consecutive title as the Stars are currently ranked fourth in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll. John Brown and Wayland Baptist will also be in contention for the team title.
 
Texas Wesleyan took home the team title on the women’s side last year as they defeated Oklahoma City, who won the previous eight conference championships. The Stars will be one of the teams to watch for the team title as they cracked the coaches’ poll in the 25^th spot with John Brown and Texas Wesleyan also in the mix.
