Columbia, Mo. – Evert Silva of Oklahoma City claimed the individual title at the 2024 NAIA Men’s Cross-Country Championships held at the Gans Creek Cross Country course in Columbia, Mo. on Friday afternoon.
 
Silva paced the Stars to a seventh-place finish in the team standings with 267 points as the College of Idaho claimed the team title with 87 points.
 
Silva ran the Gan Creek 8k course at 23:14.0 and was 30 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
 
Damien Williams was second for Oklahoma City and in 49^th place with a time of 24:50.50 while David Boulanger placed 53^rd with a time of 24:52.60.
