Oklahoma City – Jacob Police of Mid-America Christian was named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week while Colby Diduch of Panhandle State earned the Pitcher of the Week honor for their efforts ending March 17, 2024, announced by the league office Monday morning.
Police led the MACU bats in a big week from the dish, as he slashed for a .769 batting average by going 10-for-13 with two doubles, two homers, nine RBIs, and scored seven runs. Police notched three RBIs in MACU's 18-8 victory over Oklahoma City to take the road series from the Stars last Monday before wrapping up a great sweep of Central Christian with a 3-for-3 day with a double and a homer for four RBIs and a pair of runs in a 16-4 win.

Diduch won his second consecutive award by throwing six innings of five-hit baseball in the Aggies contest against Oklahoma City over the weekend. Diduch had 13 strikeouts and surrendered two earned runs with a WHIP of 1.50.
