Oklahoma City – The top two seeds advanced to the 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Championship match as John Brown and Science & Arts will meet for the sixth straight year in the title game after semifinal action Saturday evening.

John Brown needed a goal in the final minutes of regulation to advance to the conference title match for the sixth straight season after defeating Mid-America Christian 2-1 at Alumni Field in Siloam Springs, Ark., on Saturday evening.
The No. 11 nationally ranked Golden Eagles cracked the scoreboard first in the 12
th minute as Addie Craig scored off a pass from Tianna Jones that gave John Brown a 1-0 lead. The score stayed that way until the 69
th minute when Brae Baker collected a pass from Cammy Hargrove and slotted a shot past the goalkeeper from 10 yards out to draw the match even at 1-1. John Brown regained the lead in the 87
th minute as Caitlin Hilson took a pass from Julia Lambert and scored from 5 yards out to make the score 2-1.
John Brown outshot the Evangels 22-6 in the match, with Lambert, Jones, and Katherine Keys all having four shots in the contest, while Marely Fonseca earned the win between the pipes with four saves as the Golden Eagles improved to 12-2-4 on the season. Baker paced the MACU offensive attack with five shots as the Evangels ended the season with an overall record of 11-4-3.

Science & Arts scored a pair of goals midway through the first half to take control of the match as the Drovers advanced to the championship game with a 3-0 victory over Oklahoma City on Saturday evening at McLaughlin Field in Chickasha, Okla.
Dagbjort Gudmundsdottir jump-started the Drovers’ offense in the 23
rd minute as she scored her 12
th goal of the year to give Science & Arts a 1-0 advantage. Emali Goulas added to the Drovers’ lead in the 29
th minute with her fourth goal of the year to give Science & Arts a 2-0 lead. Ilse de Jong provided an insurance goal in 54
th minute to push the lead to 3-0 as Science & Arts advanced to the conference final.
Both teams finished the match with 11 shots apiece as de Jong led the Science & Arts attack with four shots, while Ashlyn Lonberg garnered the victory in goal with five saves as the Drovers improved to 14-2-5 on the year. Reese Roberts paced the Stars with four shots on the night as Oklahoma City fell to 14-4-2 on the season.
The championship match will be held on Wednesday, November 12, starting at 6 p.m. at Alumni Field in Siloam Springs, Ark. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw back on September 27, in a match that opened conference play. The Match will also be one of the featured NAIA matches on the Urban Edge Network.
