Daniels and Ereu Claim SAC Oklahoma Ford Dealers Baseball Player of the Week Honors

Oklahoma City – Bo Daniels of Central Christian and Brian Ereu of Science & Arts have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Oklahoma Ford Dealers Baseball Players of the Week for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office Monday morning.
 
Daniels claimed this week’s Player of the Week award by aiding the Tigers to a 3-0 sweep of Oklahoma City by going 6-of-12 from the plate for an average of .500 with a double and four home runs for the series. Daniels drove in seven runs while scoring six times and finished the week with a 1.583 slugging percentage.
 
Other Nominees - D'Andre Gaines, Mid-America Christian, Felix Polanco, Wayland Baptist, Craig Busse, College of the Ozarks, Kurt Ippolito, Central Christian, Ryota Kusumoto, Oklahoma Panhandle State, Peyton McDowall, Science and Arts, Dario Paredes, Southwestern Christian, and Brandon Vela, Texas Wesleyan.
 
Ereu earned the league’s Pitcher of the Week award by having a career-high 14 strikeouts in a complete-game victory over College of the Ozarks. Ereu allowed two hits and a walk in the win with a WHIP of .43 in the outing.
