Oklahoma City – Ashley Lekas of Texas Wesleyan has been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Oklahoma Ford Dealers Women’s Wrestler of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
 
Lekas won the 180 lb. weight class at the SAC Women’s Wrestling Championship with a pair of technical falls in two minutes and 12 seconds of match time. Lekas won her first match 10-0 in 46 seconds and then claimed the title with a 12-0 technical fall in 1:26 of the match.
 
Other nominees - Alexis Miller, Oklahoma City
