Oklahoma City – Natalie Guillen of Nelson and Mia Gray of Wayland Baptist have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
 
Guillen took part in the Bill Schmidt Invite and placed ninth in the 1500-meter run against a stacked field of NCAA Division I runners with a time of 5:13.10.

Gray, a multi-sport athlete who also plays softball, participated in the Texas Tech Masker Rider Open and finished seventh in the Shot Put with a throw of 12.78m. Gray competed against a field of throwers from NCAA Division I and Junior College contestants.
