Oklahoma City – Justin Guy of Wayland Baptist and Bryson McRae of UNT-Dallas have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Track Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
 
Guy claimed the title in the 110-meter hurdles at the Texas Tech Masked Rider Open with a mark of 14.06. Guy’s time in the event put him fourth in the NAIA this spring and was an “A” standard time.
 
Other Nominees - Jaquarius Gordon, Nelson, Devin Page, UNT Dallas, and Mohamed Zairi, Mid-America Christian.              
 
McRae took part in the Bill Schmidt Invite and placed third in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.93m. McRae finished behind competitors from Texas Tech and Southern Arkansas in a field that saw numerous NCAA Division I programs.
