Oklahoma City – Ryder Robison of Wayland Baptist and Brandon Clark, Jr. of Nelson have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboard Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
Robison took part in the Friends University First Chance Qualifier and grabbed the top spot on the podium in the 3000-meter run at the event. Robison won the event with a time of 9:23.06 over 18 other runners from the NAIA and Junior Colleges at the early-season meet.

Clark, Jr. also participated in the Friends First Chance Qualifier and shattered the school record in winning the Triple Jump. Clark, Jr. opened the event with a leap of 14.99m on his first attempt to break the school record as he earned an “A” Standard qualifying mark for the NAIA in the event against a strong regional field.
