Oklahoma City – Dr. Kayla Hale is not only a former student at the University of Science & Arts in Oklahoma, but she has also ascended to a major role in shaping the university as the school’s 13^th president.
 
In this week’s edition of Inside the Sooner, Sooner Athletic Conference Assistant Commissioner Jim Powers had an opportunity to chat with Dr. Hale about the history of Science & Arts, how women are now taking a more prominent role in higher education, and how athletics plays a major role in the university’s growth.
 
With Women in Sports Month just wrapping up, this is a great interview to keep the conversation going as females continue to make major strides, not only on the field, but in the classroom and in administration.
