Oklahoma City – Alfonso Camacho of Science & Arts and Michael Pelosi of Texas Wesleyan have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Netting Pros/STADIONIC Baseball Player of the Week awards for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office Monday morning.
Camacho aided the Drovers to a 2-2 record last week, which included a series win over Oklahoma City, by going 7-of-13 at the plate for a .538 batting average. Camacho had a double and a home run during the week and drove in 12 runs while scoring six himself. Camacho finished the week with an .846 slugging percentage and a .563 on-base percentage.

Pelosi earned a 2-1 victory over Central Christian by tossing a complete game three-hitter in the outing. Pelosi struck out five batters while allowing three walks in the contest and surrendered no earned runs. Pelosi had a WHIP of .67 and 5.00 strikeouts per nine innings.
