Oklahoma City – Solomon Harwood of Science & Arts and Ibrahim Gonzalez of Mid-America Christian have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Netting Pros/STADIONIC Baseball Player of the Week awards for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office Monday morning.
 
Harwood helped the Drovers to a series sweep over Panhandle State by going 8-of-9 at the plate for a batting average of .899. Harwood had two doubles and three home runs over the three-game span while driving in nine runs and scoring three times. Harwood had a 2.111 slugging percentage and a .917 on-base percentage during that span and was also perfect in the field with 17 putouts on 17 total chances.

Gonzalez notched his first complete game shutout as an Evangel in a 2-0 win over Wayland Baptist. Gonzalez allowed two hits in the seven-inning complete game while allowing no walks with nine strikeouts in the outing. Gonzalez finished the game with a .29 WHIP and an 11.57 strikeouts per nine innings average.
