OKLAHOMA CITY – The Sooner Athletic Conference unveiled its women’s spring academic all-conference list as 195 student-athletes from the league’s golf, softball and track & field programs were honored on Thursday.
Those who took home the academic all-SAC accolade were able to earn letters for their respective program while maintaining a 3.25 minimum grade-point average over the fall and spring semesters during the 2020-21 academic year.
Of the 16 women’s golfers selected to the academic all-SAC team, Oklahoma City University and Texas Wesleyan turned in the most with six each.
The Lady Rams also nabbed the most track & field selections with 10 as overall, 49 athletes earned the league’s academic recognition.
Between the conference’s nine softball programs, 111 student-athletes were honored as Mid-America Christian led the way, placing 19 Evangels on the academic All-SAC list.
