Science & Arts and Oklahoma City Set to Host Opening Round Play in the 2026 NAIA Softball Tournament

Oklahoma City – Science & Arts and Oklahoma City will represent the Sooner Athletic Conference in the 45th Annual NAIA Softball National Championship, slated to start on Monday, May 11. The two teams have also earned the right to host opening round action as the Drovers claimed the conference regular season championship, while the Stars won the SAC tournament title.
 
Science & Arts are the top seed in their bracket at Chickasha, Okla., and will take on the winner of No. 4 Morningside and No. 5 Friends at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 11. LSU Alexandria is the No. 2 seed, with College of Idaho joining as the No. 3 seed. The bracket championship will be on Wednesday, May 13, at 4 p.m, with the if-necessary game slated for Thursday at 1 p.m.
 
The Stars are the No. 1 seed in their bracket at Oklahoma City and will face either No. 4 British Columbia or No. 5 seed Williams Baptist at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 11. Grand View will be the No. 2 seed in the bracket, with Blue Mountain Christian joining the field as the No. 3 seed. The bracket championship will be on Wednesday, May 13, at 4 p.m., with the if-necessary contest set for 1 p.m. on Thursday.
