Oklahoma City Collects the 2026 SAC Softball Tournament Title Presented by Netting Pros/STADIONIC

Chickasha, Okla. – For the first time since 2022, Oklahoma City claimed the 2026 Sooner Athletic Conference Softball Tournament Championship with a 6-1 victory over Science & Arts at Bill Smith Ballpark in Chickasha, Okla., on Saturday evening. The SAC post-season tournament was presented by Netting Pros/STADIONIC.

The Drovers cracked the scoreboard first in the bottom of the third inning as Jordan Ramsay scored on a Lilyana Portillo single to left field to make the score 1-0, but the Stars would answer in the top of the fourth as Kaiden Spidell ripped a bases-loaded double to right field to give Oklahoma City a 3-1 advantage. The Stars added to the lead in the seventh as Tara Hoehner blasted a two-run shot to left field, and Analise Rayburn followed that with a solo shot to right field to give Oklahoma City a 6-1 lead that they would not relinquish.

The Stars scattered nine hits in the contest as Spidell, Hoehner, and Rayburn all chipped in with two hits apiece. Brynlee Alsip earned the victory in the circle by allowing four hits and striking out three batters as the Stars finished the season with an overall record of 47-7. Portillo paced the Drovers’ attack with two hits on the evening as Science & Arts wrapped up the season with an overall mark of 47-9.
