Ceasar, Hill, and Price Garner SAC Oklahoma Ford Dealers Football Player of the Week Awards

Oklahoma City- Ernest Ceasar, Sir Hill, and Jaysen Price of Texas Wesleyan are this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Oklahoma Ford Dealers Football Players of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday morning.
 
Ceasar earned the league’s Offensive Player of the Week honor while Hill was named Defensive Player of the Week, with Price garnering the league’s Special Teams Player of the Week honor.
 
Ceasar had another strong performance for the No. 9 Rams in a 63-42 win over Louisiana Christian as he rushed for 251 yards on 20 carries with six touchdowns on the day. The senior averaged 12.6 yards per carry and a team-long rush of 65 yards in the victory.
 
Other Nominees - Kevin Allen, Langston, Jasiah Barron, Wayland Baptist, Martin Blake, Oklahoma Panhandle State, Ethan Christman, Louisiana Christian, Luke Giron, OUAZ, and Briley Green, Nelson.
 
Hill was a key player for the Rams on defense as he had 14 total tackles with 11 assisted tackles on the day while having a tackle for a loss for eight yards. Hill also had a forced fumble and an interception with a return of 31 yards in the win.
 
Other Nominees - Trae Grogan, Louisiana Christian, Isaiah Brooks, Wayland Baptist, Tyler Faber, OUAZ, Charles Holmes, Oklahoma Panhandle State, and Tre Odom, Langston.
 
Price had 147 return yards in the Rams victory with three kick returns for 120 yards and a punt return for 27 yards. Price averaged 40 yards per kick return to put Texas Wesleyan in great field position and had an 81-yard return in the win.
