Neal and Caffey Garner SAC Oklahoma Ford Dealers Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week Honors

Oklahoma City – Kamron Neal of Panhandle State and Kendall Caffey of Langston have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
 
Neal placed fourth in the 400-meter dash at the Washburn Rust Buster last week. His time of 48.08 was good enough for an NAIA “B” Standard in the event that saw 55 individuals take part in.
 
Other nominees - Kanyon Cobbs, Oklahoma City, Matthew Gordon, Wayland Baptist, Gabriel Lane, Langston, Quintin Pennells, Science & Arts, Jaden Rodriguez, Mid-America Christian.
 
Caffey claimed the Field Athlete of the Week honor by finishing fifth in the Triple Jump at the Owen Hewlett Invitational. His jump of 14.40 was the longest jump of any NAIA finisher at the event as he earned an NAIA “B” Standard.
