Neal and Morris Earn SAC Oklahoma Ford Dealers Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Honors

Oklahoma City – Kamron Neal of Panhandle State and Josh Morris of Texas Wesleyan have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
 
Neal continued to impress this season as he placed first in the 200-meter dash at the NAIA/JUCO Challenge this past weekend with an “A” Standard time of 21.07. Neal also placed fifth in the 60-meter dash with a mark of 6.77 and aided the Aggies 4x400-meter relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 3:18.46.
 
Other nominees - Tajean Houston, Texas Wesleyan, Marques Cameron, Langston, Matthew Cook, John Brown, Belkhalfi Hamza, Oklahoma City, Isaiah Perez-Major, Nelson, Evans Pololet, Wayland Baptist, and Jaden Rodriguez, Mid-America Christian.
 
Morris claimed the Field Athlete of the Week honor by finishing second in the Triple Jump at the NAIA/JUCO Challenge. His jump of 14.60, which is an NAIA “B” Standard for the indoor season.
