Oklahoma City – Brady Meek of Texas Wesleyan has been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Golfers of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning. 
 
Meek took part in the Battling in the Desert event at Rockwind Community Links Golf Course in Hobbs, N.M., and fired rounds of 67-71-70 for a final score of eight-under-par 208 to claim the top spot in the individual race. Meek was tied for the lead at the end of regulation and made an eagle on the first playoff hole to claim first place. Meek had 16 birdies on the week and eight bogies during the 54-hole event.
