Oklahoma City – Elena Kagiali of Panhandle State, Paige Addington of John Brown, and Casady McKinney of Mid-America Christian have earned Sooner Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week honors as released by the conference office Monday morning.
Kagiali was named the league’s Attacker of the Week, with Addington earning Defender of the Week honors while McKinney garnered the Setter of the Week Award.
Kagiali claimed her fourth consecutive weekly award in leading the Aggies to a 1-1 record last week, as she had 42 kills for an average of 6.00 kills per set while having a .305 hitting percentage on 105 total attacks with 10 errors. Kagiali also added 35 digs for the week and four total blocks. In a 3-1 loss to Mid-America Christian, Kagiali finished with 33 kills and 24 digs in the contest.

Addington aided the Golden Eagles last week with 58 digs for an average of 5.80 digs per set, while having a .905 reception percentage during the week. In a 3-0 win over Southwestern Christian, Addington had 24 digs, which was a season and career best 8.00 digs per set.

McKinney had a record-setting weekend in leading the Evangels to a 2-0 record as she handed out 52 assists for an average of 6.50 assists per set while adding 36 digs for an average of 4.50 digs per set. McKinney had 28 assists in a 3-1 win over Wayland Baptist to become only the second MACU setter in program history to eclipse 3,000 assists. In a 3-1 win over Panhandle State, McKinney had a career-high 27 digs.
