Oklahoma City – Sarah Snodgrass of John Brown has been named the NAIA Women’s Basketball National Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the national office on Tuesday afternoon. A national panel of conference and institutional sports information directors votes on the national award.
Snodgrass helped the Golden Eagles to a 1-1 record last week, averaging 32.0 points on 55.8 percent shooting from the field while also averaging 18.5 rebounds. Snodgrass had a pair of double-doubles, including a program record 24 caroms in a 69-63 loss to Oklahoma City. Snodgrass became the second player in program history to post a 30-20 game as she also had 33 points in the loss to Oklahoma City.
This is the first national award for Snodgrass and the first Sooner Athletic Conference player to earn the weekly award since Susanna Moran of College of the Ozarks earned the honor back on Feb. 4, 2025.
