Oklahoma City – Louis Guffroy of Texas Wesleyan and Alvaro Morera of Mid-America Christian have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
Guffroy paced the Rams to a 6-3 victory over North American with three goals on three shots in the victory. Guffroy came off the bench in the win and also converted a penalty kick to lead the way for Texas Wesleyan.

Morera was. Outstanding in goal for the Evangels as he helped the Evangels to a 1-0-1 record last week. In a 0-0 draw over No. 13 LSU Shreveport, Morera had five saves in the match while adding a career-high six saves in a 2-1 victory over McPherson. Morera finished the week with a .917 save percentage.
