Rayburn Claims NAIA National Softball Player of the Week Award

Oklahoma City – Analise Rayburn of Oklahoma City has been named this week’s NAIA National Softball Player of the Week as announced by the national office on Tuesday afternoon. The award is voted on by a national panel of institutional and conference sports information directors.
 
Rayburn helped the Stars to a 4-0 record last week by going 9-of-15 at the plate for a batting average of .600 as she accounted for 22 runs during the span. Rayburn had four home runs, with three coming in a victory over Graceland. Rayburn drove in 16 runs and scored six times herself while having a 1.400 slugging percentage and a .625 on-base percentage over the span. 
 
Rayburn becomes the second Sooner Athletic Conference player to earn the national weekly honor this year. She joins Leighanne Eaton of Science & Arts, who won the award back on February 3, 2026.
