Oklahoma City – For the second time this season, Analise Rayburn of Oklahoma City has been named the NAIA National Softball Player of the Week for her efforts last week. The award is voted on by a panel of institutional and conference sports information directors from around the country.
Rayburn claimed her second national weekly award by leading the Stars to a 6-0 record last week by going 13-of-19 at the plate for a .684 batting average. Rayburn smashed five home runs while driving in 18 runs and scoring 10 runs herself. Rayburn finished the week with a 1.579 slugging percentage and a .652 on-base percentage.
Rayburn collected the national award on February 24 and has joined Leighanne Eaton of Science & Arts in garnering the Player of the Week honor this season.
