Rayburn and Alsip Claim SAC Netting Pros/STADIONIC Softball Player of the Week Honors

Oklahoma City – Analise Rayburn and Brynlee Alsip of Oklahoma City have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Netting Pros/STADIONIC Softball Players of the Week for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
Rayburn claimed her third straight weekly award by leading the Stars to a 4-0 record last week by going 5-of-6 at the plate for an average of .833. Rayburn had a double and three home runs over the span while driving in nine runs and scoring eight times herself. Rayburn also drew eight walks during the week. She finished with a 2.500 slugging percentage and a .929 on-base percentage.

Alsip earned her third weekly honor by garnering three wins last week over Texas Wesleyan. Alsip surrendered only two runs, with neither of those being earned, and had two strikeouts over the span. Alsip wrapped up the week with a WHIP of .75 and a .88 strikeouts per seven innings.
