Oklahoma City – Trinity Norwood of Southwestern Christian and Jayden Anderson of Science & Arts have been named this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Netting Pros/STADIONIC Softball Players of the Week for their efforts over the past week, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
 
Norwood helped the Eagles to a 5-1 record last week by going 14-for-25 at the plate for a .560 batting average, with four extra-base hits over the span. Norwood had two doubles and a pair of home runs while driving in 12 runs and scoring eight times herself. Norwood also added four stolen bases during the week and had a .880 slugging percentage and a .577 on-base percentage.

Anderson posted a 2-0 record in the circle for the Drovers last week with a pair of shutouts and a no-hitter against Nelson. Anderson finished the week by allowing only two hits and striking out 16 batters while surrendering two walks. Anderson had 11 strikeouts in her 9-0 no-hitter against the Lions. Anderson finished the week with a .31 WHIP and an 8.62 strikeouts per seven innings.
